PLAYING WITH FIRE: Celebrating Women Trailblazers in Music. Judith Lynn Stillman, artistic director/pianist, Shura Baryshnikov, Jeanine Kane, and members of the RI Philharmonic.
PLAYING WITH FIRE: Celebrating Women Trailblazers in Music in Honor of the Centennial of Women’s Right to Vote. Experience music by pioneering women composers, spanning 12 centuries, in a unique music, theatre and dance format. Featuring Judith Lynn Stillman, artistic director/pianist, special guests Shura Baryshnikov, dancer/choreographer, Jeanine Kane, actor/narrator, and members of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra including Charles Dimmick, Katherine Winterstein, Abigail Cross, Rachel Braude, Ian Greitzer and Steven Laven. The artists are joining together in a multimedia concert celebration to mark the 100th year of the 19th Amendment!
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students 18 and under or with a college ID, $10 for RI Philharmonic Music School students and family members. Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.riphil.org, in person or by phone 401.248.7000 (Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.).
